‘The script is sharp and laugh-out-loud funny and fringe debutante Sheerin and former fringe ‘Best Actress’ nominee McKevitt clearly belong onstage’ - Irish Theatre Magazine

“I loved it…..hilarious” Roisin Ingle, The View

Waiting for IKEA, directed by Alan King and written by Georgina McKevitt & Jacinta Sheerin. The show premiered at the 2007 Dublin Fringe Festival, the first show in the history of the Festival to sell out in advance of opening. The hilarious show has also been nominated for The Bewley's Cafe Theatre Award and The Fishamble New Writing Award. Set in the heart of ‘new’ Dublin, Pimlico where night day is day wear and bitching is everywhere. Pimlico Flats is akin to Cheers where everybody knows your name, your business, your record and what you are having for dinner. Nothing much changes in Pimlico, each day begins and ends the same; it’s what happens in between that keeps the neighbours gossiping.

The Celtic Tiger has been and gone and they never even stroked it.

Recession! What’s da? A new fragrance from Calvin Klein?
