ComedyDublin is an established weekly comedy troupe that has had an ever-evolving line-up of hilarious comedians for over five years. They are currently working their way through the Dublin zip codes at their three weekly homes-- The Belvedere Bar in Dublin 1,in Sheehan’s Bar, Dublin 2, and at The Ballsbridge Inn, Dublin 4 by splitting the sides of thousands of unassuming punters with improv comedy and stand-up every Sunday, Tuesday and Friday.
ComedyDublin began when a group of professional comedians met in the back room of a local drinking emporium with one goal in mind, to make people laugh. With their unique brand of improvised comedy and stand up comedy they taking their inspiration each week from the audience, the laughter followed suit. Almost six years later Comedy Dublin continues to flourish.
Regular comedians Margo Carr (BBC – Find Me The Funny), Conal Carr, Gaby Tzeschlock, Ben Musgrave, Mark Hanratty, Lisa Joyce, Bethanne Linstra, Michael Connolly, Diane O'Connor and weekly special guests round out three evenings of entertainment that you can't beat with a stick. As well as improvisers the ComedyDubliners are now accomplished stand-up comedians performing with ComedyDublin and in several of the best comedy clubs in Ireland and beyond.
ComedyDublin hosted their second Comedy Competition in June. The winner of the 2008 ComedyDublin Competition was the hilarious James Marsh and he handed over the 2009 title to the fantastic Gerry McBride.
ComedyDublin shares the stage with Kurtis Matthews (www.SF ComedyCollege.com & www.clubhousecomedy.com), Paul Tylak, Michael Mee, Moody McCarthy (New York),Eleanor Tiernan, Eric Lalor, Robbie Bonham, Liam McEneaney, Damian Clark, Conor Doyle, Tommy Nicholson, Aileen Ivory, Gar Murran, Tommy Nicholson, Mike Houlihan (Chicago), Colm O’Regan, Barry Mack, Fred Cooke, Colin Chadwick, Aislinn O'Loughlin, and many more other hilarious comedians.
ComedyDublin have been taking their show on the road regularly since 2004 and in the recent past have appeared with witty and hilarious performances in the Cork Comedy Festival, in Kildare’s - Tiger Lily, in Dundalk at the Maytime Festival in the Town Hall Theatre (garnering awards for three shows alongside New York City’s hysterical Nat Turner Revue), the Riverbank Arts Centre in Newbridge. ComedyDublin also performed with comedy group Surf n Turf (NYC) in The Sugar Club in October 2007 and on St Patrick's Day 2008 they made their second appearance on 'Dave In The Afternoon's show' with Dave Nerge on Swedish Radio Station, Rockklassiker and in Edinburgh Fringe Festival with PBH’s Free Fringe with 21 successful shows in August 2008.

It’s on the No. 7 Bus Route Ask to get out at D4 Hotels it stops right outside and is around the corner from the Lansdowne Dart Station. Come in through reception of the hotel and we are in the Library Lounge at the back.
